I told my students about my terrible migraine and that they should watch out not to strain their eyes. While practicing a routine one of them, a slender guy name Nico fell on his head while attempting a back flip. It was terrible and seeing it happen made me think that he broke his neck.

He stood up with little struggle then I decided that he sit in the clinic for a while. Being in the pep squad is not all fun, I had my share of awkward landings and twisted ankles when I was just beginning. One time I sprained my ankle so bad that my mother told me to stop what I was doing and just do something else.

It is natural for a mother to worry, but I’m glad I still did what I did. I told them this and most of them hit their head or landed on their behind once or twice and still continued with determination. This will be a great cheerleading squad.
